Located at street level on a side street just east of Utrechtstraat, the Amstel Studio 2 make the perfect base for all your activities in the city. You will find the famous Prinsengracht Canal and the beautiful Canal Belt district just a minutes’ walk away, running parallel with the street. Follow the road to the east a few minutes and you will come to the majestic River Amstel. This is a great way to make your way into the very centre of the city. Follow the river north and you will pass the beautiful Skinny Bridge known locally as the Magere Brug. It is most famous for featuring in the 1971 James Bond film Diamonds are Forever. Cross the bridge and explore the beautiful artworks in the Hermitage Museum on the other side. This huge building houses some beautiful artefacts that tell the fascinating story of relations between Russia and the Netherlands throughout history. |
