Find out where the name of this apartment comes from and learn more about Dutch naval history. You are only minutes away from the historical Amsterdam Canal Belt which is part of the Unesco World Heritage. This beautiful network of canals was once used by smaller trading ships for distributing goods over the city. Check out the incredible buildings built alongside the canals. They once were owned by the rich merchants making fortunes with trading goods from all over the world.
