Located just down the road from Amstel River, this Amsterdam apartment is well linked to the rest of the city via public transport. In the area are the RAI business centre (10 -15 minutes away from Amsteldijk station) and Frankendael Park (10 minutes away by bus 65) which is the last remaining country estate where you can relax on the peaceful greenery or dine at one of the two top-class restaurants Merkelbach or De Kas. Take the metro from just across the river from Amstelstation towards central station and get off at Waterlooplein for the daily Flea Market, Artis Zoo, the Botanical Gardens, Rembrandt Square and the Verzetsmuseum. Or stop at Nieuwmarkt for China Town and the Red Light District. Continue to the final destination to catch a boat tour from outside the central station so that you can tour this historic city through its beautiful canals. The Old South district is nearby where you can visit the Albert Cuyp Market, the Heineken Brewery and famous city museums at the Museumplein. |
