Upon entering you'll immediately notice the light and space in the apartment. Large windows overlook the canal and throw light everywhere around the room. The comfortable living area has a large sofa and armchairs with a coffee table where you can set your morning drink as you decide on the activities of the day. There is an open kitchen with all the equipment you need to prepare great meals and the dining table is perfect for gathering around breakfast or dinner. There are two bedrooms in this apartment each sleeping two people. One room has a double bed while the other features two singles for maximum flexibility. Both are beautifully decorated and will provide a peaceful night's sleep. The elegant bathroom enjoys both a bathtub and shower as well as a sink and toilet.

The house in which the apartment is situated was built in the seventeenth century and is typical of the houses that line the waterside in this area which is known as the Canal Belt. Prinsengracht is one of the most famous canals in the network and there are plenty of things to keep you amused nearby. Stroll along the canalbank to one of the many cafes or restaurants in the area or take a slightly longer walk to encounter Dam Square which is home to the Royal Palace as well as Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum and a variety of shopping opportunities such as department stores and high street brands. Chinatown is also within walking distance and Central Station is close by which makes airport transfers easy. |
