The apartment is just a short walk from Dam Square, the traditional centre of Amsterdam and home to the must visit Royal Palace, one of the most stunning buildings in the city. Dam Square is also home to Madame Tussauds, The New Church, National Monument and De Bijenkorf department store. Just off Dam Square you will find shopping streets, bars, cafes, restaurants, China Town and the infamous Red Light District. The location of the apartment also makes it easy to fully explore the Amsterdam Central canal Belt, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring stunning canal houses dating from the Dutch Golden Era.
