The Amstel Studio 4 is located, as the name suggests, just a short walk to the east from the stunning River Amstel itself. Following the river north is a great way to venture into the city on foot. Cross over at the nearby Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge) which you may recognise form the 1971 James Bond classic film Diamonds are Forever. At the other side you can find out about fascinating historic Dutch/Russian relations at the city’s Hermitage Museum. Continue north past the famous Waterlooplein Flea Market and you will find yourself in the very centre of the city with Dam Square to the west and Central Station to the north, just a short walk away. |
