The sofa can convert into a bed for two of your guests easily if necessary. Mealtimes are taken care of in the practical modern kitchen where you can prepare your favourite recipes from home. Serve them up at the dining table for your guests to enjoy in comfort. The private bedroom has a soft muted décor and is equipped with a double bed and attractive storage furniture for your clothes and travel items. There is also a private bathroom fitted with a shower, wash basin and toilet. 2 L 1ffe ocated on the 3rd floor of the building, this outstanding apartment is accessed via a lift.

City Park Apartment II Location

The City Park Apartment II is just a short walk from Leidse Square, the city’s premiere entertainment area. If you don’t feel like cooking then this is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal. The square caters to a whole range of different international cuisines. Everything tastes better when served with a cold glass of the city’s famous Heineken beer. In the summer months dinner is served outside under huge umbrellas to keep the sun off you and just in case it rains.

The square is also home to the world famous music and dance venue the Melkweg, also known as the Milky Way. If you are a fan of stand up comedy then the extremely funny American/Dutch review bar Boom Chicago is certainly worth a visit. It is located at one corner of the square. You can purchase dinner and a comedy show together if you wish but it can be difficult to eat and laugh at the same time.

The city’s cultural hub, Museum Square is just a short walk away by following the main road from Leidse Square. You can’t miss the imposing spires of the newly re-opened Rijksmuseum. This incredibly ornate building is packed with beautiful artefacts of national and international importance including Rembrandt’s infamous ‘Night watch’. At the opposite end of the square sits the world famous Van Gogh Museum which is unsurprisingly home to the largest collection of paintings by the great master including many of his famous self-portraits. Once you get through the queues and past the airport style security you will be rewarded a one to one with arguably Holland’s most popular artist.

The apartment is served by excellent transport links with regular trams taking you to and from Central Station which is particularly appealing to leisure travellers with lots of luggage.
