City Park Apartment III Location

You are located at the edge of the historical Amsterdam City centre but only minutes away from several great sites. Also there is excellent access to public transport in your street. Amsterdam has a network of tramlines that take you almost anywhere you want in no time. If you plan to travel a lot by tram we suggest you buy a day card that allows you to use the system the whole day for a fixed price. You day card is also valid in busses and subway trains of the Amsterdam public transport company GVB. But if the weather is nice you can always walk. You are very close to the famous Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum but also the rest of the historical city centre can be reached by food. Compared to other European capitals the historical centre of Amsterdam is relatively small. Amsterdam was troubled with large numbers of immigrants as early as in the 17th century. In an early age, when there also was no sewer, the people of Amsterdam learned that too many people on a small piece of land causes a lot of problems. The city governments therefore started with programs to reduce the number of inhabitants in an early stage. Visit the Anne Frank house near the Westerkerk or the Red light District near de Oude Kerk. Or take a canal cruise that shows you Amsterdam from a different perspective. The combination of your comfortable apartment and you location will make sure you have a unforgettable time in Amsterdam.
