This apartment is perfectly located within the historic UNESCO World Heritage Protected Central Canal Belt between the Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht canals. The city is certainly best viewed from the water and with the canals right on your doorstep, there is no excuse not to hire a boat or take a cruise. Right outside your door are some of the most beautiful streets in Amsterdam. Walking around the area you will be amazed by the stunning canal houses, many of which are well preserved, including Museum Van Loon, which provides a fascinating glimpse into how wealthy Dutch merchants lived during the Dutch Golden Age. The apartment is just a short walk from the lively Leidseplein with its high density of bars, cafes, restaurants, clubs and live music venues. Not far from Leidseplein is the city’s largest and most loved park, Vondelpark. If you are interested in art, the Museum Quarter is home to the Rijks Museum and Van Gogh Museum as well as high quality bars, cafes and restaurants and certainly provides a different feel from that of Leidseplein.
