Iris 2 NorthThe apartment is recently renovated and is situated in an authentic Amsterdam building in a quiet street. The stylish interior is classical but with modern colors. It has a very well balanced atmosphere and with the large Dutch windows there is plenty of daylight inside.
The large living room is characterized by clean walls in warm colors, a beautiful wooden floor and nice furniture. There is a large sofa from where you can watch TV on the modern flat screen. Right next to the sitting corner is the open kitchen with dining table. The practical kitchen has everything you need to prepare a decent breakfast, lunch or dinner.
There is one bedroom that is designed in the same elegant style as the rest of the apartment. The large double bed is provided with clean sheets, just like the sleeping sofa for two in the living room. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, a shower and a bathtub.

You are located in a more quiet area of Amsterdam on the edge of the city centre. You are close to several famous sights in Amsterdam and only minutes away from the nearest tram station. Amsterdam has a large tram network that takes you anywhere you want to be. You can for example visit the heart of the city at the Dam Square. Here you will find the large World War Two monument in the center of the square. Or visit Madame Tussaud where they exhibit a large collection of wax works. Closer to your apartment is the Nieuwmarkt. This area is connected to the Amsterdam China Town and the Red Light district. In the middle of the square stands a large building that is called “de Waag”, meaning scale. In the past markets were held around scales like this to weigh trading goods. China Town offers you a great place to experience Oriental Cuisine while the Red Light District shows you scenery that is unique to Amsterdam. And if you just want to go for a walk you can walk to Rembrandt square. This place is well known for its nightlife and is often used for open air events.
