This stunning living space positions the main living area on the very top floor of the building up in the eves of the roof. This very open and airy space is extremely comfortable and well designed incorporating large windows that open wide and allow lots of natural light. A beautiful fitted kitchen enables you to prepare your own meals during your stay with ease. Enjoy them together at the impressive dining table and chairs in the centre of the room. Over by the windows you will find a living room area where you can kick off your shoes and get comfortable on the large L-shaped sofa and armchair with your guests. A flat screen TV is also provided here for everyone’s entertainment. The lower level of the apartment incorporates the three private bedrooms. Each room is carefully decorated in simple colours to encourage restful sleep during your holiday and fitted with two single beds each. You will also find a private bathroom located here with a bath, sink, shower and toilet. All in all this outstanding holiday home makes the perfect alternative to renting hotel rooms in the city for everyone.

Jasmin Penthouse Location

You will find the Jasmin Penthouse apartment situated in the extremely green neighbourhood known as the Plantage district. Located to the south east of Central Station, it is extremely easy to make the journey to the apartment on foot. Understandably you may prefer to hop on a tram from the station in which case you will need to hop off again at Plantage Middenlaan. Since it is a very short journey, you may decide to ‘go native’ and hire bicycles for the duration of your stay instead. It’s cheaper than public transport, quicker, greener, healthier and much more fun. Cycling in Amsterdam is incredibly safe since almost all roads have dedicated cycle lanes. Indeed more journeys are made by bicycle than by car here.

There are lots of interesting visitor attractions located close to the apartment including the excellent Artis Zoo where you can say hello to all the usual animal favourites and some fascinating other creatures too. The insect house might make you itch but the butterfly house is extremely enchanting. Stand still long enough and these graceful creatures will bravely land on you and eat fruit from your palm. There is even a small petting zoo area for children and adults to interact with the more native animals such as goats and chickens. Don’t miss the incredible original 19th century aquarium also located within the zoo’s grounds. This impressive building has an amazing marble lined main hall showcasing giant tanks full of all kinds of underwater creatures.

Other local attractions are the Tropen Museum, Hortus Botanicus (Botanical Museum), Hermitage Museum and the wonderful Waterlooplein Flea Market where you can pick up all kinds of unusual items as gifts to take home with you.
