It doesn’t get much better, or closer to the real historical heart of the city. Situated very close to the Amsterdam Central Station, this accommodation is right in the heart of where it all happens. This is where old buildings almost bend over you, where the cute little bridges connect the alleys over the canal system, and where all the exciting nightlife is for you to explore. You needn’t even leave your direct area, because there is plenty to do here. There are so many bars and restaurants that serve a variety of meals, and the touristic attractions are only a short walk away. Within five to ten minutes you can find yourself at Dam Square, Amsterdam’s main city square. It is from here where you should start exploring the city. You can go south towards the museum area, head out west for the quaint Jordaan neighbourhood, or walk east towards the red light district and the Nieuwmarkt city square that holds cute little boutiques and the like. Should you wish to travel a bit further, just hop on the tram or train at the central station. The Netherlands have a excellent public transportation network, so you can go anywhere you want. |
