Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ
Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ is situated on the IJ, directly behind Amsterdam’s Central Station. The impressive new facilities, with variable acoustics, have been designed to hold a large concert hall and a small foyer against the impressive backdrop on the IJ harbour.
Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ hosts a multifunctional, spacious concert hall that includes 735 seats, standing room for 1,500 and a smaller hall containing 125 seats. Both have foyers and a broad range of convention and catering facilities. In its role as chamber music hall, the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ concentrates on the ensemble repertoire from the 20th and 21st centuries and contemporary music theatre - but it also forges links with other periods, styles and art disciplines.

The Concertgebouw (concert hall) enjoys, like its most important player, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, a worldwide reputation. The Concertgebouw organises an alternating programme that involves both Dutch and international musicians and varies from performances by world famous symphony orchestras to concerts for children, contemporary music, vocal concerts and world music.

The Bimhuis
The Bimhuis has been a much loved jazz venue in Amsterdam for more than 25 years. Its new location, adjoining the Muziekgebouw, offers better sound quality, inspiring views, and a stimulating environment.
The new Bimhuis provides a perspective on Dutch and international music with more than 200 concerts annually, in which a variety of jazz and improvised music can be enjoyed – as well as variations such as funk, poetry and spoken word, world and much more.
