The Leidseplein Penthouse is a luxurious 200m2 apartment with marvellous views right in the centre of Amsterdam. It's set on the attic of a former police station dating back to the 1900's and it has been refurbished respecting the original structures of high gabled ceilings, exposed dark wooden beams and parquet floors. The designer furniture is elegant and modern resulting in a romantic atmosphere that at the same time it's very urban.
The spacious lounging area comprises a living/dining room plus a mezzanine den. It's fitted out with a large couch, two big armchairs, two leather chesterfield armchairs, a coffee table and for your leisure time there is a television and a DVD surround set. The handsome dining table is in solid dark wood with carved legs and six splendid chesterfield chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare your meals: fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, a beautiful counter and cupboard filled with utensils.
The bedrooms are classical, serene and there is a good deal of closet space. One of the bedrooms is fitted out with a double bed an the other with two single ones. You can relax in the lavish en suite bathrooms with full jet stream shower stall and Jacuzzi tub.
Last, but definitely not least, is the fabulous deck which boasts a beautiful bubbling tub. There are also lounging chairs where you can chill out with a good wine or, perhaps even more appropriate, champagne.
This amazing penthouse can house six persons and there is an elevator.
Important information:
- Please note that the elevator in the building is located on the first floor and not on the ground floor. From the ground floor two flight of stairs are to be taken to reach the first floor.
- As this apartment is located in one of the most vibrant night-life centers of Amsterdam, there will be an increased level of sound from the surrounding area during the weekends.
