This apartment is located in the Gothic quarter of Barcelona, right in the heart of the Old City. Here you can witness the old Barcelona, a city with narrow winding streets and stunning medieval architecture. The buildings themselves have changed little from the outside but inside you will find something very different from what they were originally built for, with chic boutiques, bars, cafes and restaurants filling a great deal of the premises in the district. This makes the area a great one for exploring, and once you need a rest, grabbing a coffee and people watching. The area is also home to the Picasso Museum, which exhibits many of the artists early works, and the Textile Museum, a must see for anyone interested in fashion and how it has changed through the ages. If you feel the need to get out and escape the crowds of the Old City, the beach is within walking distance.
