The apartment is located in the stunning Borne district of Barcelona, with its narrow winding medieval streets and beautiful open squares. The district is now home to some of Barcelona's trendiest fashion boutiques, art galleries, cocktail lounges, cafés and restaurants. After a day out exploring the city, the Borne is the place to be to enjoy a drink or dinner at any time of the evening. The architecture in the district is unlike anywhere else in the city and the Basílica de Santa María del Mar, or the Cathedral of the Sea as it is otherwise known, is the jewel in the crown. For art lovers, the amazing Picasso Museum, located in a late period Gothic building, houses many of his earlier works and he lived in this part of the city when producing them. The apartment is also within walking distance of Las Ramblas, which needs to be experienced while in Barcelona.
