Located in the atmospheric Gothic Quarter of the city, the apartment is perfectly designed with your comfort in mind. Ride the lift up to the 4th floor and step inside this fully air conditioned residence. The décor is a cool creamy white with the occasional lemon accent feature wall. In the living room you can relax with your guests and enjoy the flat screen TV also provided. The comfortable sofa also converts with ease into a double bed for two of your guests. Meanwhile the two private bedrooms are fitted with a double bed in the master bedroom and two singles in the second room. The décor is again simple and unfussy to encourage a good night’s restful sleep. You will find excellent storage furniture and stylish reading lamps above your pillow. The designer bathroom is ensuite to the master bedroom and features a shower, sink and toilet. Prepare all your own favourite recipes in the excellent fully fitted kitchen. Meanwhile you can serve up your culinary creations at the dining table and chairs alongside. It’s also a great place to lay out those huge city maps whilst deciding together where to explore in the city tomorrow. After dinner why not enjoy a glass of wine on the beautiful balcony overlooking the city. The hallway features a mammoth wall mural of a stained glass window which is extremely vibrant and rather beautiful.

Plaza Catalunya Deluxe E Location

The Plaza Catalunya Deluxe E is located just a few minutes south of the city square of the same name. Two of the city’s major shopping streets, La Rambla and Passeig de Gracia come together here. Meanwhile it is also the point where the oldest districts, El Gotic and El Raval meet one of the newest neighbourhoods, L’Eixample.

Head in a southwest direction on foot making your way across La Rambla. You may have to dodge hundreds of determined shoppers and creative human statues on your way depending on the time of day. Eventually you will reach a very striking white building which is actually one of the top 10 tourist attractions in the city. This, the Barcelona Contemporary Art Museum, also known as MACBA, is jam packed with some of the most interesting and internationally important art of the 20th century. Mainly featuring works from 1950 onwards you will find particularly European, Spanish and of course Catalonian artworks exhibited here.

On your way back to the apartment why not call in at the beautiful Plaza Real for a cool beer? This outstanding city square is always packed with local people and visitors socialising together in these rather majestic surroundings. Indeed the name translates literally as Royal Square. Some people will be rounding of their day out with a drink or perhaps an evening meal whilst others will be beginning their night out here before they continue on to one of the many nightclubs within and around the plaza.

Getting around the city is made extremely easy by the excellent metro system. The nearest stations, Catalunya and Urquinaona are both just a five minute walk away.
