Located on the third floor with lift access the apartment boasts a private little balcony from where you will be able to enjoy the fabulous street views over the historic Gothic Quarter that the apartment is situated in. The balcony can be accessed from the living room through the double glass doors. This room is open plan and is also furnished with an orange single sofa bed, a small wooden dining table with chairs and a well-equipped dark brown kitchen where you could prepare meals together using the fresh foods bought from the Boqueria food market just down the road on La Rambla. The entrance to the fully furnished bathroom is next to the kitchen. This Barcelona apartment also has one double bedroom with a side table and wardrobe.

This traditional Barcelona accommodation is located in the city centre within the picturesque Gothic Quarter just east of La Rambla, which is almost right outside your doorstep. On the south end of La Rambla is the tall Columbus Monument which is in the exact spot where Columbus returned to Spain after his voyage to the Americas. On the north end of La Rambla is the large Catalunya Square which links the Ciutat Vella district with the Eixample district. From here you walk onto Passeig de Gracia for designer shopping and admiring modernist buildings such as La Pedrera and Casa Batllo or you can go shopping at the typically Spanish department store El Corte Ingles which is on the Portal de l’Angel street. Head a little east on foot into the Gothic Quarter to find the Picasso Museum which holds the largest collection of his work, the beautiful gothic buildings of the Barcelona Cathedral and the Santa Maria del Mar church and the popular Barcelona Zoo. The sandy Barceloneta beach is also close by. |
