The dark brown floor tiles nicely complement the beams and the light walls. The double glass doors in the living room and the bedroom saturate the apartment with lots of natural daylight and also take you out onto the private balcony from which you can enjoy the great street views from the fifth floor setting. The apartment can be accessed by a lift which is reassuring especially when carrying luggage. An incredibly popular area, the central Ciutat Vella district is filled with tourists and locals alike. This Barcleona apartment is located right by La Rambla and Plaza Real. Both are great places for dining and partying in the evenings at the bars and nightclubs. La Rambla is also perfect for a stroll and a spot of shopping. On this long boulevard you will find the Boqueria food market and the Liceu theatre. North of La Rambla is the prestigious Passeig de Gracia which is great for splashing the cash at designer stores and snapping your camera at modernist buildings such as Gaudi’s La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. From the Liceu metro station you can take the L3 metro to Parallel Avenue for the funicular train up to Montjuic Park. This is a fantastic location filled with great attractions: the Spanish Village, National Palace, Magic Fountain, the Olympic Ring, Botanical Gardens and a large 18th century fortress.
