Plaza Real Apartment H Location

The Plaza Real Apartment H is located in the oldest Barcelona neighbourhood known as El Gotic or the Gothic Quarter. Explore this largely traffic free district at your own leisure. You will absolutely love the labyrinth of medieval winding streets and pretty concealed plazas. You are vey likely to get lost but this is of course all part of the fun. You will discover a wealth of trendy cosmopolitan bars, laid back cafes and lots of popular nightclubs. Indeed the district is famed for its popular nightlife.

The apartment is named after the beautiful Plaza Real, a city square just a few minutes’ walk north from the apartment. Famous for its stunning architecture and Antoni Gaudi designed lanterns, it is a place hundreds of people visit daily to hang out with friends, enjoy an iced coffee or a cold beer in beautiful surroundings. You will see a real cross section of Catalan society here.

Be sure to investigate the famous La Ramblas, possibly the busiest market street in the city which lies just a 2 minute walk to the west. Fight your way through the thousands of people, stalls, buskers, street theatricals and avoid the eyes of the wonderfully creative human statues as you go. Follow the road south to the coastline where you will find the Christopher Columbus memorial and the extremely popular entertainment area Port Vell. Join the thousands of visitors that come here to see the 11,000 fish in the city’s famous Aquarium. Children and adults will be enthralled by the incredible 80 metre long glass walk way which brings you face to face with sharks!

The apartment is served by Liceu and Drassanes metro stations just a short walk away. Estació de França, the French Station, one of the two main railways stations in Barcelona, is also conveniently close by.
