This apartment is located in the exciting Eixample district, an area developed during the 19th and early 20th centuries to expand Barcelona beyond the Old City walls. While the old city is know for its narrow labyrinth like streets and medieval architecture, the Eixample district is characterised by long streets, wide avenues, large modernist buildings, stylish boutiques, cafes and restaurants.
