The apartment is located in the charming Eixample district, home to some of the finest modern architecture not only in Barcelona, but in the world. Here you will find the most well known of the Gaudí masterpieces, Casa Milá, Casa Batlló and the Sagrada Familia. All of these building need to be seen at least once in your lifetime, so why not stay within walking distance. The historic Parque de la Citadella with the Arc de Triomf and Ciudadela Fountain is also very close to the apartment. Everything you need is located within the Eixample, with some of the city's finest bars, cafes and restaurants found in the district. If you do feel the need to get out and see other parts of Barcelona, the Old City is accessible on foot as is the most famous street in the city, Las Ramblas. There is also a Metro station nearby for those destinations that are slightly further afield. The location of the apartment makes it ideal for any trip to the city, no mater what your interests. |
