This Barcelona apartment enjoys a great central location in the Ciutat Vella district. Within the setting of the el Born area you will find many cafés and restaurants dotted around on squares. A great way to explore the area is on foot so that you can take in all the great views of old gothic buildings and narrow windings streets. Stick to the theme of history and visit the Picasso Museum, the Barcelona Cathedral and the Santa Maria del Mar church. Nearby are also the Barcelona Zoo, Barceloneta beach and La Rambla. The area is well connected to the rest of the city via public transport: metros and buses so you will be able to quickly reach other parts of the city for an even more touristic experience. The L4 metro from Jaume I station will take you to Passeig de Gracia where you can enjoy shopping at designer stores and visiting the La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. Go two steps further on this metro line to the Verdaguer stop and walk over to La Sagrada Familia to admire this amazing temple. |
