You will be spoilt for choice on activities in this central district. Ciutat Vella is the home of some of Barcelona’s most famous attractions and sites: La Rambla, the Picasso Museum, the Gothic Quarter, Santa Maria del Mar, Barcelona Cathedral, Barcelona Zoo and even a beach at Barceloneta! These are all walking distance away from this short term apartment. Join in with the masses and walk the La Rambla boulevard from the Columbus Monument all the way up to the Catalunya Square. At the square you could board the tour bus for a ride around town stopping at some great attractions like La Sagrada Familia, The Spanish Village, the Magic Fountain of Montjuic which graces the entrance to the National Palace or Camp Nou which football fans will recognise as the base of Barcelona FC. Or continue your northward stroll from the square onto Passeig de Gracia for designer shopping and admiring the beautiful architecture at buildings like La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. Just don’t forget your camera! |
