Situated just off Las Ramblas, you'll find the apartment's location ideal for any type of short stay in Barcelona, whether it's for business or pleasure. This area is famous for its lively atmosphere with street performers, cafes, bars and restaurants all within moments of your apartment. If you want a more tranquil experience in the same area, try Monjuic Park, which is a large hill looking directly onto the water and the Port of Barcelona. With funicular railway to take you to the top of the hill, you'll have a clear view across the Port of Barcelona, where you can also catch a ferry to several other destinations. The park is also home to the stunning Palau Nacional which houses the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, with its impressive exhibition of painting and sculpture. Also here is the Poble Espanyol - the Spanish Village, built for the 1929 International Exhibition. There are plenty of transport links in this area too. The nearest metro station is a few minutes walk away and you'll also find bus-stops for sightseeing tours and airport shuttles. You can also walk to some of the city's most famous landmarks, such as the Sagrada Familia, the famous Cathedral designed by Gaudi.
