The Eixample district is one of the most sought-after locations in Barcelona - extremely central and easy to reach by bus, metro and tram, this is the home of many of the most famous Modernist buildings in the city. The most famous of all is, of course, the Sagrada Familia, the stunning Gaudi-designed cathedral that is closely associated with the city.
