This Barcelona accommodation is strategically positioned for visitors who desire a central location close to the city’s principal focal points of La Rambla and Plaza de Catalunya. Occupying the left flank of one of the most famous avenues in the world, the studio enables instant access to the fantastic nightlife of El Raval, the attractive and immensely popular harbour and the hidden historical treasures of the Gothic Quarter. Also within easy walking distance are a host of cultural gems including the phenomenal Museum of Contemporary Art, the fascinating Maritime Museum and the lodging’s namesake, the breathtaking beauty and prestige of the Liceu Theatre.

Although somewhat controversial due to its dubious past and subsequent reputation, the Raval district is certainly worth exploring and offers some impressive attractions of its own, including Barcelona’s oldest church, the Sant Pau del Camp. One of the rare examples of Romanesque architecture in Catalonia, this remarkably intact structure dates back to the 10th century, although remnants of its 9th century predecessor are still visible at the bases of the portal. Completely contrasting in style but equally worthy of your attention is the nearby Guell Palace, which has undergone a dramatic seven year renovation to restore this magnificent building back to its original splendour.
