This apartment is located in the Barcelona Gothic quarter right in the heart of the Barcelona Old City. Despite several changes that have taken place in recent years, the majority of the buildings in this area still dates from medieval times and are exceptionally well preserved. Some of the architecture in the area even dates as far back as Roman times. The quarter is well known for its labyrinth like layout of narrow streets and alleyways making it easy to get lost, however when exploring the quarter that is the point. The Gothic quarter offers a wide range of trendy bars, cafes and restaurant, the perfect place for relaxing in the evening and watching the locals. The apartment is also situated just a short distance from Las Ramblas, a must visit on any trip to the city. A Metro station is also located nearby for trips that are beyond walking distance.
