Relax together in front of the large flat screen TV on the huge chunky sofa. It also converts very easily into a double bed for two of your guests. A taste of historic Turkey is kept alive with the beautifully intricate authentic floor coverings and a delightful Ottoman coffee table and footstool in the centre of the room. The private bedroom has the same simple cool décor with a one special accent wall featuring some very chic wallpaper. The bed is actually two singles pushed together to create a double and there are pretty reading lights on the wall. You will find plenty of good storage space for all your clothing and essential travel items. The apartment also has a private bathroom fitted with a toilet, sink and shower. The Apartment Galata Tower VIP I sits just a few metres away form the iconic Galata Tower which offers outstanding 360 degree views across the city from its observation deck at 51.65 metres above the ground. It is certainly worth visiting as it is really is on your doorstep and the lift taking you to the top is surprisingly quick. The tower was built in the 14th century as the crowning glory to the city’s original walls of defence. More (relatively) recently it was used to inter prisoners of war and as an observatory. Only a few years ago part of the base was converted into a restaurant and nightclub. |
