The Toledo Deluxe apartments are at the heart of La Latina district, which occupies a great sector of the old Madrid. La Latina is also known as the Madrid de los Austrias because of its regal buildings, mainly dating from the 19th century and constructed over older structures dating as far back as the birth of the village of Madrid. As a result the area has a particular urban configuration with big squares and narrow medieval streets overlapping the ancient city walls. These streets have seen all the historical events of Madrid. Today La Latina is still a dynamic and lively area with a variety of forever pubs and modern bars as well as the most authentic tapas' bars and avant-garde restaurants.
From the Toledo Deluxe apartments you can walk to most of the main city's attractions. To the north east you can reach the Royal Palace, approximately a kilometer away, and to the north you'll get to the famous Plaza del Sol and the 'Zero kilometers' center of Spain.
