Nightlife
Madrid is one of the world's liveliest cities, a city that never sleeps. During weekends or before public holidays it is not unusual to see more people out and about at 4, 5 or 6am in the morning than in many other cities during the day.
The best or at least most famous discos are probably Joy Eslava and Palacio Gaviria on Arenal street, Empire in the Paseo de Recoletos, Kapital in Calle Atocha and Pachá in Barceló street. Reduced admission or free drinks are available at many of Madrid's nightclubs with the Madrid Card.
Many gay discos and pubs can be found in the Chueca area of Madrid. The two main streets in Chueca where you’ll find the most going on are Calle Horteleza and Calle de Fuencarral.

Madrid Arena
This is a former cinema and now hosts the biggest Madrid parties. It currently is the biggest Madrid club in the capital. It includes different floors with all kinds of music. During the summer months there are lots of world famous DJ´s playing their records in the Arena.
El Sol Madrid
If you like to dance, El Sol is one of the Madrid clubs you have to visit. They play a mix of funk, hip-hop and jazz.
Joy Eslava Madrid
The Joy Eslava is a club which is frequently visited by famous people. The entrance fee is somewhat higher then other clubs; it goes up to 15 euro in the weekend. Though it matches the slightly luxurious atmosphere.
Kapital Madrid
The Kapital club Madrid has seven different floors, including two disco areas which play the original 80´s music. The other floors play mainstream and hip-hop, except for one: The karaoke bar.
La Pacha Madrid
This name guarantees a good night out. The Pacha group has 24 clubs in the world under this name. The most famous club is the one on Ibiza. The club in Madrid is enormous and always full with people. There is a constant house beat playing for you to go on till the sun comes up.
