This apartment is located on rue Saint Dominique in the 7th arrondissement, a largely residential area home to some of the most stunning buildings in Paris. The district is home to perhaps the most famous attraction in the city, the Eiffel Tower. While the Eiffel Tower can be visited whenever you want, it is recommended to take a picnic and a bottle of wine in the evening and enjoy it when it is fully lit up. The Musee de Orsay is also just a short walk from the apartment and is a must visit for those lovers of impressionist and post impressionist art. The apartment is also close to the Pont de l'Alma, which provides amazing views out over the Seine, the Eiffel tower and the districts beautiful buildings. Just a short walk from the apartment is boulevard Saint Germain des Prés one of the major shopping precincts of Paris and home to numerous internationally famous cafes including Le Café de Flore and Les deux Magots. The boulevard has a rich history and is a great place to spend a few hours. There is also a Metro station close by for those sights just not reachable on foot. |
