This apartment is located on rue Hauteville close to Place de la Republique, a square in central Paris situated on the border of the 3rd, 10th and 11th arrondissements. The square is home to grand buildings and impressive statues and is a popular meeting place. Just a short distance from the apartment is the Bonne Nouvelle district, an area known for its beautiful streets, small boutiques and gift shops and is also home to the impressive la Fayette department store. It is also possible to walk from the apartment to the trendy Saint Martin Canal, a fashionable café littered with cool cafes, bars and restaurants. The Canal was built under the instruction of Napoleon and although it fell into disrepair in he 1960’s it is now vibrant and popular once more. There are also several impressive French bakeries and patisseries, perfect for grabbing lunch to eat by the canal. It is also possible to walk to the Marais district, one of the oldest areas in Paris with amazing architecture and a great nightlife.
