The location of this apartment couldn't be better, regardless of the reason for your visit. Just 50 metres from the most visited gallery in the world, the Louvre Museum, this location is a dream for sightseers and business travellers alike. There is a metro station just moments away and with a location in the heart of Paris, it's easy to reach any part 2 o 1ffe f the city in a short space of time. It's also close to the Paris Bourse, or Stock Exchange. In the immediate vicinity though, there's enough to see to keep sightseers amused for a very long time. As well as the Louvre itself, there are the Tulleries Gardens, a beautiful place for a stroll no matter what the season. Just beyond the Gardens, you'll find the imposing Place de la Concorde, with its intricate statues, fountains and buildings. A short walk up the Rue Royale will take you to the Place de la Madeleine, site of the Church of the Madeleine, and home to one of the world's most famous restaurants, Maxim's. The Champs Elysees, perhaps the world's most famous tree-lined boulevard, is another street leading off the Concorde and a walk down it will reveal shops, restaurants and cafes. You'll end up at the famous Arc de Triomphe, which you can climb to enjoy breathtaking views across the city. |
