Saint-Honore Location
|
The Rue de Saint-Honore is one of the most famous streets in Paris, part of the highly desirable 1st arrondissement on the right bank of the Seine. This street is without a doubt one of the best bases from which to explore Paris, as very little effort is required to reach some of the city's most famous landmarks. Just a moments away is the Louvre Museum, home, of course to the Mona Lisa as well as thousands of other important works from all over the globe. Directly in front of the museum are the Tulleries Garden, a public park since the 17th century and a beautiful place to walk, read or relax. Just outside the gardens, you'll find the awe-inspiring Place de la Concorde, one of the city's most instantly recognisable squares, with its stunning buildings, statues and fountains. Leading off this square is the infamous Champs Elysees, the long, tree-lined boulevard famous for its shops and general people watching. Follow it all the way to the end and you'll reach the Arc de Triomphe, from which you can enjoy stunning views of the city. Close to the apartment, you'll find a huge range of bars, cafes and restaurants and transport links in the area are also excellent, making it ideal for exploring further afield or for business travellers. Whatever the reason for your short stay in Paris, it's difficult to find a more ideal location. |
