This large short stay apartment is located in the Vatican City area which is in the western part of Rome. This area has a lot of charm which can be witnessed in the Vatican City which is a short way away from the apartment. Here you can take a relaxing and scenic walk through the beautiful Vatican Gardens which are decorated with fountains and sculptures. There are many Vatican museums you could visit such as Chiaramonti, Gregoriano Etrusco and Gregoriano Egiziano. The spiral stairs at the museums are a wonderful site. Also in the area is the St. Peter's Basilica, which on top of being an amazing old church is a very popular tourist attraction. For an Italian meal head over towards Viale Giulio Cesare and Via Cola di Rienzo where you'll find many restaurants, pubs and cafes. Via Cola di Renzo is also a great area for shopping as there's something for everyone. This is a long street which stretches from just above the Vatican City all the way across the Tevere river towards Piazza del Popolo. |
