If you're looking for a great beach holiday, Scheveningen is the perfect solution for you. Sandy and beautiful, the beach is extremely popular with watersports enthusiasts and you'll see people enjoying windsurfing and kiteboarding as you relax on the sand. There's plenty of other things to do here though as well as just sunbathe and swim. The Sea Life centre, Circus Theatre and Holland Casino are all within walking distance as is the Scheveningen pier. The Hague itself is a vibrant city with many of the Netherlands' most important institutions based here such as the Royal Court and the Dutch parliament. There are plenty of great restaurants, bars and cafes in the area. Schipol Airport is just one hour away, as is Amsterdam.
