Tommy’s apartment Amsterdam

Tommy’s apartment Amsterdam is a bright and contemporary 1-bedroom apartment at the edge of the charming Jordaan district.

This is a particularly light and airy apartment with a welcoming atmosphere. The living area maintains many of the original features and includes high ceilings, pretty floors, stained glass doors and large windows that allow in plenty of natural light. The living room is furnished in a contemporary style with a double sofa-bed, an additional sofa, an armchair, a dining table with seating for four and a flat screen television. The kitchen is modern, open planned and fully equipped with everything needed to prepare homemade meals.

The apartment can easily accommodate up to four people. There is one large bedroom with two single beds, side tables and a wardrobe, and in the living room is a double sofa bed. The bathroom features a shower, washbasin and toilet.

The apartment is located at the edge of the delightful Jordaan district amongst picturesque canals and 17th century canal houses. This is the perfect area to explore on foot so wear your comfortable shoes. There are many cafes, restaurants and shops in the area as well as a number of art galleries. Around the corner you will find restaurant Moeders ('Mothers') for some Dutch cuisine in an informal atmosphere. At the Rozengracht is the Rozentheater, the theatre which is now the home of Amsterdam’s popular comedy club Boom Chicago. You can get there in less than five minutes on foot. Just five minutes further down the road is the Prinsengracht canal and the world famous Anne Frank House, a museum not to miss during your short stay in Amsterdam. Next to it is Westerkerk which is a church that Anne mentions in her diary and in front of the church stands a statue of young Anne. Tram 13 or 17 from Rozengracht will take you to Dam Square in five minutes.
