Location

The Borne Pop Art Loft A apartment is located, as the name suggests, in delightful El Borne district, most certainly the trendiest neighbourhood in town. A magnet for creative people, this is also one of the prettiest. Along with Gracia and Eixample, El Borne has become one of the most sought after barrios (districts) to live in. It remains a safe and vibrant neighbourhood and comes highly recommended to visitors to the city. Explore the seemingly unending labyrinth of medieval narrow streets and alleyways and enjoy the many laid back cafes, traditional taps bars and cultural attractions.

The Picasso Museum is certainly worth a visit and it’s just a short walk to the north from the apartment. It is one of the top ten visitor attractions in the city so it’s wise to get there early to avoid the likely queues. Picasso had a very special relationship with Barcelona and it is fascinatingly explored through his paintings and sculptures in the museum. With over 3,500 of his artworks in the museum’s permanent collection, there really is a lot to see.

You will find the apartment just a short walk from Jaume I metro station to the west and Barceloneta metro to the east. Estació de França, the French Station, one of the two main railways stations in Barcelona, is also conveniently close by.
