Liceu Loft Studio is located in the el Raval area, on the the west side of La Rambla Boulevard. On the north end of this avenue you will find Catalunya square which connects this central and historical Ciutat Vella district with the 19th century built Eixample district. The popular shopping and business avenue Passeig de Gracia starts at Catalunya square and is filled with designer stores and modernist buildings such as Gaudi’s famous La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. The typically Spanish department store El Corte Ingles is located just off the square on Portal de l’Angel street whilst a big shopping centre Bulevard Rosa with over 100 stores is located on Passeig de Gracia. The Liceu metro station just down the road from the apartment will take you to the Parallel Avenue from where you can catch the funicular train to the popular and attraction filled Montjuic Park.
