Location

Ideally located at the very heart of Rome’s ancient city centre, this apartment is just a short walk away from a fantastic array of must see sights and attractions, including the world famous Colosseum which is a sight certainly not to be missed. Attracting thousands of visitors from across the globe on a daily basis, this magnificent structure dates back to 70 AD and was once the largest amphitheatre in the Roman Empire. The Colosseum was where the well-known gladiator battles took place in front of huge crowds of up to 80,000 spectators and was also where exotic animals from all over the world were showcased. Also close by, positioned towards the south west of the apartment, is yet another of the city’s iconic landmarks – the fascinating Roman Forum, which is definitely worthy of a visit. These remarkable ruins are all that is left of many of Rome’s historic government buildings, around which much of ancient Rome developed. A superb selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants can also be found within close proximity to the apartment, together with numerous bus and tram stops, which provide excellent public transport links to the rest of the wonderful sights that this truly incredible city has to offer.
